JacquelineJacqueline Fernandez was born 11 August 1985 in Sri Lanka. She is a model and actress. Her roles include Hindi film and reality TV shows. Since her debut in 2009 on Aladin She has been an actor of great success in Hindi cinema. Fernandez was born and raised in Bahrain to a multiracial Eurasian family from Sri Lankan, Canadian, and Malaysian descent. After graduating in mass communication at the University of Sydney and working as a journalist on television in Sri Lanka, she joined the modeling business. In 2006 she was Miss Universe Sri Lanka and was a representative of Sri Lanka in Miss Universe 2006. Fernandez is under investigation for money laundering involving Rs200 million since December 2021. Fernandez was questioned for 10 hours by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), as part of the investigation, on 9/12/2021. Fernandez's request to downgrade of the Lookout Circular, (LOC) which she received in her case that blocks her from traveling outside India was rejected by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on 22nd December.
